September Fiestas in the Pueblo

It is so common for pueblos and cities in Spain to have patron saints and town wide festivals in their honor. The tiny village of Biniamar has the patrona Santa Tecla, and festivities in her honor are in mid-September. There were several days of events, including a play, several processions, and even an event celebrating the Indian holiday of Holi complete with colorful chalk.
